Mailé Nguyen (they/them) is the Program and Marketing Assistant at Asian American Futures. Prior to joining AAF, Mailé taught English in South Korea for three years while on a Fulbright scholarship. They currently serve as an Executive Producer on the Divided Families Podcast, a project dedicated to recording stories of family separation and reunification. Mailé is often found reading books to improve their vocabulary for Bananagrams—their best played word to date being “anthropocene.”
